Sorry, dont believe any of that…Aggie is talking to Elko, Liepold, the Mizzou coach, the Detroit Lions coach…even the Oregon coach…dont see aggie hiring Traylor…just not a big enough splash…
Traylor has done a good turn around job at UTSA , but if we want to upgrade recruiting, Kinne is who we should talk to…going to be an interesting next 2 or 3 weeks.
“A lot with very little” sounds like the justification for hiring Bill Obrien. Bill’s 'making the most out of a difficult situation" narrative wasnt true, any more than the idea that Traylor has accomplished much. Winning 2/3 of your games in a washed out CUSA doesnt tell us anything more than that the guy is mildly competent. Neal Brown was better at Troy and is probably a better coach than Traylor. Would you spend 16 to 18 mil in buyouts to put our visor on him?
Superior accent
What if we look in the NFL staffing ranks?
I hope not…and I don’t think were at the top of Traylor’s list right now
GJ kinne I think will be looked at more favorably than Traylor in a year from now. I’m not really sure Traylor moves the needle considered you have to pay his buyout + salary along with Dana’s buyout as well.
Jeff Traylor?
Maybe, but doing what Dana is doing doesn’t make me feel any better.
We are going to have to, but it can’t be continued after the first year.
We have to make our hay through the HS recruiting. Especially OL’s and DL’s.
I’m talking about traylor doing the same at UTSA.
Agree.
I have no interest in Traylor.
If you told me it had to be Traylor or stick with Dana, I would take Traylor.
But, we don’t need to do that.
I’d much prefer traylor over dana. That’s a really low bar for me. Lol
I also think we can do better.
We can and we will.
Not sold on Traylor. However, I do want for our team whatever that Triangle of Toughness thing is
now do Dana’s record at WVU
Totally agree, as I posted on another thread a while back, and bring OC Slade Nagle with him.
Josh McDaniels is available
It’s a gimmick that will become his crutch when coaching breaks down. I hate it. It’s the same as the Herman nonsense.
It wasn’t nonsense.
It was because it’s not sustainable. It worked for a certain group of guys. That’s it.
