Jeff Traylor as UH HC

Now that is nonsense.

What exactly is it that you think isn’t sustainable because there are programs all across the country that do the same thing.

Listen to this guy

Lets clear up some stuff on recruiting…UTSA has 22 HS commits, including 17 3 stars and Rivals has them ranked 56 in country, ahead of people like Wisconsin, Oregon Sate and a lot of other P5 schools…nothing wrong with Traylor’s recruiting, especially considering the shoe string issues he has to put up with there…Dana doesnt even make the top 100 list…naturally.

You’re looking at last year’s class. UTSA isn’t in the top 100 this year. They are well behind which seems impossible.

And we had a better class than them last year.

Thank you. It’s so stupid to do head to head comps.

Exactly what I figured. He seems more a A&M guy imo. He likes the smell of cowpies in the country type too me…Need a successful coach who’s familiar and comfortable with a urban school culture.

All Coogs want respect and relevance. We always think we’re behind and we need to catch up quickly. Traylor and Fritz are decent program builders but do they have the flash and personality to start turning things around out of the gate? I have my doubts about both short-term. I’m more bullish on both LT.

I’ll go on record and say I like Traylor as coach. I think he can be a good one. He seems more “UH” than the last two coaches.

Blue collar.
Hard working.
No excuses.
Seems to do more with less.
I’d trust my kid with him.

I don’t know why people think Aggies are cow pie. They’re basically a Houston suburb, 90 miles away. I just simply don’t get why you think UH is so much more sophisticated. And their fans actually drive the distance for games. Wish we had the same.

Full disclosure, my family is almost all Aggy. I might be one the few that are not.

I really don’t care about flash, I care about how good a coach he is. I don’t think anyone can say that Kelvin Sampson is flashy; but he is a great coach that knows how to build a program. That’s what I want in a coach. Many coaches who had flash that turned out to be a flash in the pan.

Thought I smelled the odorous smell of cowpies in the air of Houston occasionally.

I mean Aggies say derogatory things about UH. Kinda what fanbases do

The teams you’re probably thinking of are elite in the knowledge and coaching categories. They don’t ONLY rely on a gimmick.

Its had mixed results for Colorado

At least it was WVU and for more than 2 years…

This sound right. Every college coach in Texas knows UH tried to back channel a deal with Traylor at the end of last year and Traylor shot it down.

Sounds like something Pez would do. Ended up with fondue with eggs in it , on his face.

Read tonight that TCU’s Gary Patterson says he is ready to get back into coaching…We really need to talk to him because he is a proven big time winner in Big 12…
