I can’t lie.
165 does seem awfully small for any college football player, and for a safety, but he may play bigger than his size.
But if he’s a 3 star recruit and is getting P5 offers, then he’s probably worthy.
One thing’s for sure. This illustrates the difference that being P5 makes in recruiting. In the past, we’d have lost that recruit to another G5 like Memphis.
Now, that same recruit will choose a P5 offer like ours over the G5 offer.
