Jojo looks like he could be 6’9” one day👀.
A McFarland and Tugler frontcourt in a couple years could be scary. Especially because McFarland said he was working on his shot to spread the floor.

Still waiting on confirmation. Duarte hasn’t confirmed Tugler is out for the season and Sampson said in the post game he didn’t know yet

Just taking an educated guess here, but I have a feeling Sampson let the source release the news to Baldwin to get the word out there, but he won’t confirm it himself because if it’s just a “stress” injury they can play wait and see for as long as the team wants.
I don’t know a thing about what type of injury this could be, but for those of us clinging to hope maybe it’s something that Jojo can play through in a few weeks just knowing that playing comes with the risk of a more serious injury.

What type of injury kept Sasser out in ‘21? Was it the same thing as Tugler’s?

It’s probably unreasonable to practice and play CKS brand of aggressive basketball w/o incurring injuries. We can only hope that some of the injuries are minor in nature, but unfortunately, JoJo’s injury wasn’t minor.
We know what Roberts can do, so it comes down to how well Francis and Lath performs the rest of the way in the low post.
CKS is an effective, selective recruiter and I’m confident that his players will impress when it counts.

What team in the country can afford to lose two quality players like Tugler and Arcenaux? They both will end up in the NBA.
Geez you can only have so many on the team.
The zone is anathema to our way of doing things. But it wouldn’t be a bad time to start doing it well.
