So question. Why does lath a freshman get the green light over mcfarland also a freshman? If technically mcfarland is more skilled just doesnt have the body.
You only get 11 scholarship players. Any team that loses 3 players for the season is going to have a âlack of depthâ Nothing you can do to combat that. Teams are only going to play their top guys in the tournament. Lath isnât Tugler, but he was fine with his 10-11 minutes against OU. UH still have the dudes to compete for a Final 4 and a title.
Can I ask you where you pulled that # of Schollies from.
Further Research needed.
Lath got to UH a semester early so his redshirt was used last Spring
Lath was a gray shirt early enrollee I believe. So he canât redshirt I believe.
Two years ago it was Ramon Walker who came out of nowhere and contributed at the end.
This year it will be Ced the Dread.
If he earns that nickname weâll be alright
Yeah letâs hope it is Ced the Dread instead of Cedrick Dreadful.
13 scholarships, but 2 of those are redshirting, which leaves UH with 11 scholarship players eligible for this season.
Thanks for clarifying your first sentence in orig post. I simply read " You only get 11 Scholarship players " . Difficult when youâre not reading every detail or any of the prev posts.
I think it bears repeating what CKS stated in his presser for UCF. It gets to the heart of the culture that CKS has developed in the program.
At around the 14:20 mark, CKS requested that Tuglerâs surgery be performed Thursday or Friday, so that Kelvin and Kellen would be with Tugler before and after the surgery. CKS said that is what a family does.
Culture is a vague term but CKSâ comment brings it to life in a practical way.
Tugs on the list. No mention of injury.
Going into this season I wouldâve thought that JoJo would be here for three yrs and TA as well. Thought TA would come back next season because heâd more then likely be starting. Now that both of them have been hurt I think thereâs a high probability of both of them leaving after next season (if they finish next yr healthy). They both will have had a season cut short to injury and wonât want to risk that happening again.
Foot fractures can be chronic, can be a life long career problem especially in BB. Remember Bill Walton thatâs what hindered and shortened his career ( foot stress fractures) as a premier player in the NBA. I sure hope thatâs not the case for JoJo
Yeah, I hope he recovers well. Yao Ming also had foot issues. Granted he was such a large human being, but Iâm hoping JoJo doesnât have a recurrence of any foot issues. He has enormous potential for a guy that just tuned 18.
Man, I was thinking about the growth of Francis over the last 3 years, and I remember how raw he was as a freshman. JoJo is way ahead of him in terms of lateral quickness, defensive rotations, and having a little bit of game offensively. He could be special if he remains healthy.
