I’m shocked there’s no apparent outrage over UT obtaining an injunction from a local judge to avoid clear NCAA eligibility rules.

The rules say he’s ineligible to play another year. I’m waiting for all of the SEC schools to threaten to kick them out for playing an ineligible player solely on the basis of a temporary injunction that ignores the very straightforward NCAA rule.

SEC schools don’t seem to fear UT at all. So let this decision ride for a while and keep this chip in your back pocket.Later in the year when it comes down to SEC deciding tie breakers for playoff spots…play the card that says UT played an ineligible player and every game he was in is forfeited.

I’m still mad about the fact that a UT alum was working replay reviews at our game in 2023. We had clearly made the first down towards the end of the game and he overruled the referees on the field. It’s been standard for the visiting team in non-conference games to have their conference officials officiate the game. But for them to have their own alum in the replay booth?? How does that even happen? There’s no way that should have been approved. If there’s a close call, there’s no way they’ll rule against their alma mater.

Yeah I was there and we made that first down by a huge amount then the ref walked the ball back 3 ft. I couldn’t believe it. It wasn’t for sure we win it after with a first down but we’d have 4 attempts to score a td. This is why I don’t ever miss playing UT.

I’m just waiting until we have sideline lawyers with a Judge on call.
Flag - ineligible receiver. Went out of bounds and came back in then caught the ball.
Lawyer fasts tracks a form to the on call Judge to get a temporary injunction on the flag call. Rule is not valid here and player deserves to be heard. No penalty can be counted towards him for this game.
Judge agrees.
Resume game with the catch counting towards the players stats (and future draft consideration) and new field position upheld for the team.

I think Mr. Sinus infection was checked out and didn’t want us to win the game. Ship sailed and all, surely he knew who that replay official was. Or someone knew and was asleep or sold us out. Who determines who the replay official is? Rat somewhere on that.
