I do not know why anyone would sign a contract with no requirement for some sort of performance requirement or even the possibility of a job reassignment if certain requirements are not met.
The university is stuck with a really bad contract that makes it too difficult to make a costly change.

He also said many time that he knows how to built a Big12 team. Well heās had two years to recruit a Big12 type team and he hasnāt. Also just last week he said the team was improving. This is what a Big12 team looks like.

I wish I could say the same, but since 1976 I have seen a couple more.

2018 Army 70 - UH 14 Yeah, we scored but Army was not in the same league as KSU this year.
There were a few others losses with more than 41 point differential.

We are only 3 of 8 on FGs attempts >40 with hand picked kicker who was unproven commodity. Looking at what prior PK who transferred has done so far this season.
We need new center, RG and RT that are capable of blocking in B12. We really miss behaving a center like Russey more than I think most realize.

West Virginia alumniā¦it is the EXACT same routine we lived with for 7 yearsā¦āthis is the Big 12āā¦āWe have to recruit betterāā¦āSome guys donāt want to be hereāā¦āIll fix itāā¦" etc etc etc. And his recruiting was so bad he left the cupboard bare as he skated out of town one step ahead of getting canned. And then he started up the same scheme down there. He always blamed it on the difficulties of recruiting in W.Va. (our population is only 1.7 million- smallest state with a Power 5 team). Whatās the excuse in Houston, Texas? This guy is a scam artist, unstable, a true narcissist, and a jackass.

WV fans immediately told us what we see today.
U of Miami Fans told us exactly the same thing.
Conclusion:
We gotta hire a HC, any coach with a consistent record. I am not asking for āmoney ballā I am asking for consistency.

Seems like if the fanbase is extremely pissed off that we stole their coach, then we have the right guy.

haha yes, that should be part of the checklist of our admin. They need to get the opinion of the fanbase of the school where the coach we are looking at is from. The majority opinion on the fanbase rarely lies. If they are upset he is leaving then we hired well, if they are happy then we made a mistake. Simple.

Yes it was cold, yes it was windy, yes it was an early kick but the guys were like in slow motion, our WRās could not get separation from their DBās and Smith did not have time to go through progressions. It was amazing how good their D was, quick, and got off blocks and made tackles. They will beat UT this week.
