I can’t watch that game either…but the Louisville game, what a classic. I never get tired of watching it.
Would you be willing to sell or have you considered donating them to the UH Archives Collection?
I work with some folks in the Media Archiving & Preservation field that can properly transfer from VHS to digital, and maybe even enhance image quality (depending on the current state of your VHS).
Sad note - VHS degrades over time, especially in non-climate controlled spaces, like your closet.
Let me find it first then I’ll shoot you a message.
I record all conference games, especially UH games on Fubo. ESPN+ does not have recording ability. Because FOX owns Fubo and they don’t carry ant Turner network channels, I also got HMO MAX so I can have the NCAA tournament when it starts. I will not be able to record those games because HBP MAX does not have recording capabilities.
FWIW, Fubo is not owned by Fox - they just don’t carry Turner channels because they didn’t agree on terms.
Fubo is actually controlled by Disney, or they will be once the merger is approved.
I have it, as well, and the recent cost increase made me take another look at going back to DirecTV Stream, but the cost difference is negligible, even when including the cost of MAX.
I could see the deal with Disney potentially affecting DirecTV’s next round of negotiations with ESPN.
I know you’re being tongue-in-cheek.
But I’ve often wondered how they count viewership for games.
When I’m watching the Coogs, I don’t flip. But if I’m just watching other games, I might be flipping between 2 or 3 or 4 other games. If the latter, is my viewership counted, and for whom?
It’s the average viewership across the entire broadcast, so the end would have ticked the average up a bit. They track it minute by minute, well they track the households being tracked.
