One of the greatest games ever in my opinion

A co-worker who is a graduate and fan of Purdue College watched the game on her cell phone while at a wedding. 
At work, I always refer to UH as America’s Team so she proved it for me.
I had a party to go to so I taped it, so I thought. When I got home turned I it did not record whole game but they replayed it that evening, it was so good.
Well I watched it at home.

I remember there were some debates before we joined the B12 about whether or not the tougher schedules were something we should really look forward to. The prospect of being in games like this were why I said yes. This is exactly what we signed up for. Playing on the biggest stage, in the best arenas in the country, against other top tier competition, in front of a national audience. Doesn’t get better than that. What a game and what a win. Go Coogs!

not sure even the most optimistic fan would have seen us going 23-3 in our first 26 games in the big 12 though lol
I watched the game live on ESPN and DVR’d it and watched it again on Sunday, and then erased it. I did have a bit of regret, realizing I was erasing a historic game but there are more historic games in the future.
Incidentally, somewhere is a box in a closet, I still have the VCR tape with the Louisville vs UH NCAA semi-final dunkathon, and the NC State last second win over UH in the NCAA final. I have never rewatched the NC State vs UH game. It’s too painful.
There was even a poster on here claiming Sampson would have rather stayed in the American. No way, Sampson loves the challenge and knows games like this a great for him and the program. We were never scared of Big12 basketball

What’s remarkable after i rewatched a 3rd time?? whose counting… you can see thier fans heading to Exits when KU was up 6 pts n we fouled Harris in OT. It was ovahhh for them… and a W in their pocket. They got pick pocketed on way to car. Took the LLLLLLLL !
We were watching it on my phone while at the Hawks game, and the guys sitting next to us were watching it with us.
Come on EastCoast, you went to a Hawks gm vs watching the Coogs vs KU.
Maybe back in the Dominque Wilkins days vs Celtics but now…
Glad the Rockets held up just enough lsst night to give them another L, on tough back to back night for both teams.
