Kansas player confesses, Houston broke them, never recovered 😆

Exactly, because we lost 3 games early in the season and still won the Big 12 and a #1 seed.

Kansas doesn’t have mental toughness. That’s something our coaches look for when they are recruiting.

Oh thank you for that lesson in life. Maybe as a former college player I have a bit more breadth and understanding of the game.

But you see sir that with either of those FTs falling through this isn’t even a topic and we would have lamented our shortcomings in the game. That’s what the post was in regard to.

BTW, as in every case you man up and seize the moment. 2 FREE throws, certainly at home, are just that. FREE. As opposed to composing the Mr. Sportsmanship speech.

How do you recruit for mental toughness?

It’s an intangible quality and not a metric of performance that can be reduced to a statistic.

So the missed free throws by Harris in overtime was the pivotal moment. It was’t the 5 second violation by Mayo in regulation? Or the 61% free throw shooter hitting two critical free throws to extend it to overtime?

What about our 90% FT shooter missing both his FTs early in the second half? That doesn’t count either?

I get that the Harris FTs makes it a 3 possession game, but you’re dismissing the missed opportunities/clutch FTs that sent the game to overtime in the first place.

Enuff with the Gilgamesh. YES HE KILLED THE UMBABA! S-expletive, you and I could kill Umbaba!

What’s Gilg done in the NCAAT? Nada! If there’s no Umbaba Gilg is useless.

Someone tell him there is a support group for players in his situation.

He can call: 1-800-MUDCATS

It seemed like their coach didn’t care after the loss because he was just cracking jokes with the media after every loss in the press conferences.

Did you see the way Self tied his shoes midway through the first half? There you go.

Obviously you missed my point about understanding the breadth of the game having played basketball in college.

This is what happens when they get paid and lose hunger -

Did you actually get any on you?

Hope not anyways.
