Yeah lemme waaaay back this player to the KU game in March 2024, first time the Coogs played whatever the expletive a jayhawk is at Fertitta. Coogs hung 30 points on KU. The refs were in full protect KU mode…and we still got to a 39 point lead.
Houston can beat Hunter Dickinson’s ass any day of the week. We can’t beat Kansas has any day of the week. See the difference? There’s one there. I hope Dickinson broke that program.
Fun fact, Kansas Just became the second preseason AP #1 team ever to lose in the first round. The other was also Kansas in 2005

I believe coaches say, there are a lot of things that happened during the game you can point to why they lost.
It’s not fair to blame it on the player who misses his free throws at the end of the game.

Seems to me that for whatever reason, Self has not recruited very well the last few years. Not sure if he has depended too much on transfers, but they only have 6 players who can contribute. Not the Kansas of old as other teams in the league have improved.
I think I posted earlier, KU was soft and slow
Dickinson put up a lot of stats but I do not think he was the right guy to build a team around. He has flaws on defense and overall athlethicism. He is the opposite of J’wan… on paper he looks great but in game no so much… Roberts brings much more than just stats.

Dickinson looks slower than years past. He really lumbers this year. and his 3pter went to crap. Thats really unfortunate for Kansas
