We’re down to just the OU game scheduled for OOC in 2019. Looks like we did it to help Kansas out as they just scheduled a whole mess of teams today.

They needed extra time to prepare for the Goliath that is our team.

Now I’m officially worried about our future schedule. Hopefully we have something in the works too and that is the reason we pushed it back. Not going to be easy to get a home P5 game in 2019 and two P5 games in 2020 unless we are already working on something right now.

Kansas has a plan for a P5, G5, and FCS each year. They could have kept us in those years and scheduled Coastal Carolina later, so not sure what this is about. Still hope there is more behind this where we have games to announce or they are giving us a good chunk of money to move them back.

Arizona is a good start but I am really hoping that we will look PAC12 or BIG10 for scheduling.
It always takes two to tango but a regular schedule with USC or UCLA would be great for us. There are enough So Cal alumni in the greater Houston area, Again easier said than done. The same can be said for a Michigan or Michigan State. I will be fine with Stanford or Oregon too.
Mr Snyder is a great Coach but I sure hope we can do better than Kansas. We need to aim for the highest competition that we can schedule outside of the AAC.

Might Hunter be doing his old school (Coastal Carolina) a favor by pushing our game back? I sure hope he has a decent replacement plan in place.

I expect Kansas will eventually buy both games out in favor of Coastal Carolina.

Kansas State is Bill Snyder, not Kansas.

I see this as Kansas trying to figure out how to distribute and attain its three wins a season. If they line us up those years, it puts this in jeopardy.

They gotta somehow keep the boosters anxious for the start of basketball season.

I thought we stopped playing FCS teams?

Coastal Carolina joined the Sun Belt the day after the CWS last year

In Coog-Kansas semi-related news: Doug Meachem is now the Kansas OC.

My bad I thought we scheduled K-State. Kansas? Really?

That’s what I said but then again I guess the argument we can use is that it is still a P5 school and we aren’t scheduling FCS.

Pretty sure we play Washington State in 2019.

Yes…and open@Oklahoma.

One thing that I don’t understand is Georgia Southern.

No more 1AA schools. Period.

At least they are FBS

well based on what I’m hearing next season’s OOC schedule with have a non P5/G5 opponent again. After that then we should be good going forward.
