Should the family of Major Klinner, his wife and three children, who was killed during Operation Epic Fury receive benefits based on him being killed in war or not?

If they have handed out benefits for anyone post 1945 then she should get it. Because using that technicallity nothing since June 5 1942 against Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria is a “war”.

We haven’t officially declared war since WWII.
Pretty stupid excuse for denying any applicable combat benefits.
