I would hope for that, but numbers on hate
crime stats seem to be increasing. This data
suggests it increased 11.6%

Anti-Black or African American hate crimes continue to be the largest bias incident category, with 31.1% of all single-bias incidents in 2021.

A total of 1,590 incidents related to religion were reported; the largest categories of religion included:

  • Anti-Jewish incidents: 51.4% of religion-related incidents
  • Anti-Sikh incidents: 11.6%
  • Anti-Islamic incidents: 9.6%
  • Anti-Catholic incidents: 6.1%
  • Anti-Eastern Orthodox (Russian, Greek, Other): 3.1%

Maybe social media is partly responsible, since it enables like minded folks to find each other and recruit easier. At least that’s my take on it , at this time.

Wonder if that is the good god fearing Klan or those skin-head Klan that want to destroy America.

I’m all for anti-masks laws at protests. Mask wearers are either there to start $&#% and don’t care about the actual protest or they’re paid protestors who don’t give a $&#% about what the protest is about and don’t have the balls to show their face. Or they do care but fall under Pollard’s last line.

Speaking of, lots of people out there loving their conspiracies.

That, along with the passage of the Reconstruction Act of 1865.

Our history as a nation demonstrates that every major civil rights advancement is followed by an aggressive blowback from the same people.

Political parties and agendas evolve over time. But ideologies don’t.

This is myth. The Klan was never in its history “law enforcement”. It was literally founded as the opposite of “law enforcement”.

It was founded to circumvent/undermine law enforcement during Reconstruction in the aftermath of the Civil War in order to “restore order” to pre-Civil War status.

IOW, the Klan was founded to be (and remains to this day) a terrorist organization.

I feel like there is also a “Lost Cause” narrative woven in there with that myth as well. Daughters of the Confederacy would be proud.
