Emanuel Sharp was selected as the Midwest Regional Most Outstanding Player. But remember he was also selected as the B12 tournament’s Most Outstanding Player. Sharp has had his ups and downs, just like every other player on the Coogs Final Four bound Midwest Regional Championship team. But, when it’s on the line, he seems to come through.
I just thought he deserved his own thread.
Like Fran, and I, said… when healthy he’s the best player on the court.

I am actually surprised Sharp hasn’t gotten more press. He’s a basketball player with some football mentality mixed in him. If I had to pick ONE guy on our team to take with me to a street fight, it would be Sharp.
I just wish sometimes he would drive and try to make three the old-fashioned way, especially towards the end of the game when we’re trying to close it out. He was great on Sunday.
I think we might see some of that driving and dishing on Saturday.
He leads the team in FT attempts by a decent margin, despite having played almost 100 fewer minutes than the player in 2nd place.
A lot of those FTs come from drives.
