I was always impressed with his dedication to the program despite not getting any meaningful playing time.
Does this open up another scholarship? I canāt remember if he was on scholarship or not. If so, I hope Sampson loads up on some talent.
As much as I donāt want to see kids transfer, I felt there were too many players riding the bench that were taking up spots. I understand a few were dealing with injuries, but still.
In retrospect would have better off waiting until the summer to enroll rather than December.
We were regularly described as playing 10 deep until we moved to the big 12. We may have increased the top end talent level available to us, but we may have been slightly thin after the first 7 this year, compared to the talent consistency of previous rosters.
He was a āprojectā that just didnāt pan out. Good luck to him. Hopefully he gets some PT wherever he goes.
Our rotations have consistently been 2 & 2 in the front court and 3 & 2 in the backcourt.
It seems like Sampsonās rotations have been as deep as his teamsā abilities
That, and weāve had untimely injuries with ādepth piecesā (ex. Jefferson & McFarland this season).
