Hope he goes to Louisiana and helps Coach White in his rebuild of that program.
Good luck Ced! He just wasn’t going to get any PT here… needs to audition for overseas teams his senior year.
Wish him the best of luck in finding a school where he can play some…
Same! I loved Big Lots. He seemed like such a great kid, he seemed to always have a huge smile on his face.
Except when being chanted to by the student section as the victory cigar…
Said it before & I’ll say it again… he should be transferring to the TE room for Willie!
Best of luck!
No more 3 year projects.

This might bode well for incoming transfers.
Makes sense, for everyone, at some point the kid is going to want to actually play. And that wasn’t going to happen here…
Best of luck to him
Hell yes, compadre, I’m with ya on this.
We don’t just need “practice bodies” or developmental players, we need ppl that can add valuable minutes on defense & score when coming off the bench.
As much as I hate to see him go, he was just taking up a scholarship. I’d rather bring someone in who can compete for playing time and really help the team. This opens up a spot for another legit big to come and play.
He stayed longer than I thought he would but he was always smiling and seemed to love his stay
If basketball doesn’t workout he can be a bouncer or bodyguard.
To be fair, Francis was a 3 year project and came on really good for year 3 and 4. They do work out sometimes
We are never going to play more than 9 guys regularly. Sure you want a couple who can step in if there are fouls or injuries, but the last 2-4 guys on the bench should be projects that you hope develop and don’t cost a boat load of NIL.
Yeah, it’s hard to convince good players to come in only to play garbage time. Realistically those are always going to be guys who know that they aren’t there yet but with some patience and practice they could fight for a spot in their junior or senior year. Some of those guys never get there but some of them carve out decent roles
I wish him well as long as he doesn’t become a cow…
With the 15 scholarship limit we do have room for guys like Lath.
While him leaving doesn’t seem to hurt much from a team competitiveness viewpoint - it doesn’t help either
