I know he had pretty valid reasons for leaving UH for Auburn so I have no ill will towards Leroy.

Aggies have been making moves in the T&F field for years now

I guess i hope it works out for him - even if it’s with the Aggies

It’ll work out for him. He’s a hell of a coach.

I don’t have any ill wishes for Leroy, but I don’t have any positive thoughts for the Aggies either.

Burrell is on my Mt. Rushmore of UH T&F Athletes. As a coach, he followed legend Tom Tellez, and was head coach at UH for 23 years. Very happy for his success. Texas A&M got a good one.

Love the guy and with all that Agy hi money he will win a national championship…book it…

No matter who he works for, he will always be a COOG great athlete and coach. Bless him in all he does. Of course I hope Carl’s team beats them in the nationals.

My daughter transferred to a prestigious northeastern university. Her mom was distraught as they have been close forever. She decided to come back to Texas and be closer to home. She picked Texas A&M because she could get into Electronic Systems Engineering Technology. Ironically she was a computer engineering major at an Ivy League school but was rejected for the same at atm as a transfer. (Complicated) She picked ESAT as an alternative.

I went over for NSC last week and I have softened a bit on the Aggies (I am historically the biggest ATM hater on this board.) I’ll never wear an Aggie t-shirt or say “Howdy” but I thought about Leroy while I was over there.
I know Leroy will be supported there. For
my part he is the most sympathetic UH public figure of my lifetime. I just hope he finds peace

If Carl had NIL money he could compete for titles every year, but….
