UH didn’t make the cut. Disappointing. Texas, Rice and SMU included.
From what I recall, UH is going to be discontinuing its MBA program.
It makes sense. There are too many MBA programs in Texas anyway, and most of the UH-MBA applications aren’t for the full time program. Therefore it’s not even a financially-sustainable program if not enough full time admissions are coming through.
UH is much better off focusing on its Undergraduate and Graduate-Accounting/Finance programs.
UH is stopping it’s full time program but will continue part time MBA (which is where it competes better anyway).
Interesting. Didn’t know that. They also have several specialized MS degrees through Bauer and an Executive DNA program now.
It is obvious the market for MBA is quite saturated with schools offering.
It’s already quite saturated with people who shouldn’t be getting an MBA and will thoroughly misuse it in their upper management jobs that they somehow still get
