Yep. I listened to a show yesterday where one of the guys predicted UNLV would win the game in a close one. They like the QB replacement and said they return practically everyone on offense that averaged over 34 ppg while adding a few more talented skill players from the portal. They also expect UNLV to be better on defense due to a slew of transfers from the portal.
I’m hoping we win, but I wouldn’t be surprised if we lose a close one. UNLV has a lot of talent and their offensive scheme is similar to what we ran with Briles. Look at what Briles did with 2 & 3 star players. This UNLV team is similar.
Overall, I’m hoping to see our offense chew up the clock to keep their high octane hurry-up offense off the field. If we can do that and create a few 3 outs, I think we have a good chance at winning.
