According to 24/7, Houston has offered #2 Josh Fleeks and #8 Ta’Zhawn Henry. We offered Fleeks after he attended our camp in June. Henry only has 3 offers so far and we offered him first.
Cornerback List out: Coogs have offered #1 Anthony Cook, #2 Jalen Green, #4 Verone McKinley III, #5 D’shawn Jamison and #10 JaQualyn Crawford.

I have seen reports that Waddle and Brennan are seriously considering us.
Oddly, 247 doesn’t have the Coogs offering any LBs in the 2018 class as of yet.
We’ve had some success recruiting Manvel HS under Herman (D’Eriq King and Hasaun Glasgow), but look how many players they have in the top 50 in every category. Our coaches need to be in that HS every day during recruiting season. That could be an awesome pipeline for our program.
We need the “big uglies”. We’ve offered #4 Connor Galvin and #24 Trey Stratford
Safeties tonight. Houston has offered #2 BJ Foster, #3 Atanza Vongor, #4 Jordan Moore, & #5 Isaiah Humphries. Keep an eye on Moore; he tweets a lot about UH and I believe his girlfriend is enrolled at UH.
We’ve offered #1 Jalen Mayden and #4 Tanner Mordecai. On 24/7 Mayden is Warm to us along with Louisville and Mississippi State.

How exactly is it determined whether a QB is considered dual threat? Is it based on rushing attempts, rushing yards, designed runs?
I follow the Twitter account up above and then use 24/7 to determine who we’ve offered. Sometimes, I’ll track down a kid’s twitter account to see what they’ve been saying.
Good question; think it’s just a determination by the coach or recruiter.
24/7 doesn’t have us with any offers to LBs for 2018.
'#1’s name is Bumper Pool?.. that’s awesome. We had a bumper pool table in the basement when I was a kid.
If the Qb has wheels. Basically, if the Qb can run a 4.6 or faster. SteveYoung was considered a dual threat back in the day.
According to 247, we have no offers out to any '18 Pro-Style QBs
Defensive Ends are up next and the Coogs have offered #1 Max Wright and #5 Bobby Brown according to 247. No telling as to if either are seriously considering the Coogs at this point.
Today, we get Tight End, Center and Guard rankings
For Tight End, we’ve offered #1 Mustapha Muhammed, but I don’t think we’re in the running for him.

At Guard, we’ve offered #1 Barton Clement. Looks like he’s leaning towards the Aggies right now.
We don’t currently have any offers out to any centers at this time.
One thing that worries me about this thread is that 1) we have no 2018 commits yet and 2) it seems the staff was focused on mainly the top guys in Texas. If Herman knew that he wasn’t going to stay and that he was going to take most of his staff, he was basically recruiting for UT. Needless to say, I can post who we’ve offered, but it probably doesn’t matter much at this point.
We’ve offered #1 Keondre Coburn. Meekins was recruiting him so expect him to go to UT (247 was predicting that before the coaching change).
