Malichi Nelson QB USC

Smith is the starter

Tulane fans have also claimed that Fritz and the offense in particular held them back from winning more games these last couple of years lol

they’re coming out of a very recent break up from a long term relationship so I’ll cut them some slack on the crazy stuff they’re saying

lol I gave them a couple weeks to recover but it’s time to hit them with their new reality if they keep up their antics.

Well we just got another Tulane player to transfer here so I doubt they are happy about that

That is premature. A new offense for both Smith and whoever comes in, so they are both learning at the same time. Whoever runs the new offense best will start.

Yes.

Look at the schools he is considering.

Those aren’t exactly powerhouses.

Smith might very well start ahead of him.

We’ll see.

He hasn’t even done a visit yet.

Did you read the article where his DAD was quoted several times. He’s had over 50 schools reach out to them already. Some big, some smaller, theyre going to evaluate n make best decision possible to cut it down to 3-5 finalist. Come on Law… Read!!

Edit: CWF has Zero loyalty to Smith. Sad but true that’s it’s way more business like than before. For Athlete & Coaching staff.

I was just looking at the caption.

All the same, it’ll be tough to come in and beat out a SR QB with only three college passes to his credit.

@uhlaw97

Off subject but i thought of you few times 2 weeks ago when I sat in on a Capital Murder case i was selected as a Juror for. :stuck_out_tongue::unamused:

Shoot. Come on over Mr. Nelson. You can absolutely compete with Donovan, easy.

Wow. It looks like we might have some good options.

Yeah, I’d be tickled pink if Austin Novosad came this way….spend the year behind Smith and then take over for at least two maybe three years……and he’s a Dripping Springs kid so I gotta believe there is some hard work to go with the talent.

This is a very professional approach to transferring. NIL money is short term. Getting the right system fit and putting up numbers to enhance your NFL draft stock is long term. With UH now in the B12, the argument about “lesser competition” has been eliminated, and makes UH a viable destination.

Novosad is ready to go right away if he comes here - already sat behind Nix for a year.

Yes, I doubt Novosad would transfer to UH without a realistic chance to start in 2024.

No QB is transferring here expecting to sit.

Even better.

I can halfway imagine someone like Nelson, who would be a redshirt freshman, agreeing to possibly be the #2 guy for one year, with the assumption that they’d be the top candidate to start the next season though.

Waiting for that Lagway and Nelson competition this Spring for UH
