Meanwhile, Iran war

Yep, someone got totally out played by someone. Intelligence matters as
well as having legit advisers.

And the mask slips
again. Equating Iran with Islam. Someone put away the dog whistle and brought out the bullhorn.

Same crowd that were duped into waving Russian flags at CPAC by Borat.

Their loyalties only belong to their ideology and leader, not their country.

Id like the record to show that you are wrong in this statement.

There was never a mask.

I thought this article was interesting regarding Iran’s water issues.

I was aware of their years long drought, but not aware of this:

On March 7, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said the US had bombed a freshwater desalination plant on Qeshm Island in the Strait of Hormuz, impacting water supply for 30 villages.

If true, and probably worthwhile to be somewhat skeptical, would this have been a war crime attacking civilian infrastructure ? Or simply an inadvertent casualty of war?

Iran has approximately 95 operational desalination plants across the country, producing around 1 million cubic meters of desalinated water daily.

Lol they are

Oh my goodness you guys kept bringing it up all day?

Why are you so sensitive?

I just wonder how Iran was feeling emotionally. And I wonder what we can do to negotiate more with them. Seems like there is a reasonable deal to be had.

No. They aren’t. Unless you want to equate other religions with other rogue states doing bad things but something tells me you wouldn’t be qwhite as consistent with that somehow.

Iran regime is evil

No one said otherwise. But thx for telling everyone you think Islam is evil. Bullhorn still loud af.

Sounds like more pain at the pump is coming per these two articles

Dwindling Oil Inventories Could Mean Gas Prices Soar Even Higher

Pain at the pump is going to be here for a long time, probably to the point where the pain is the new normal and society will have to adjust.

The bizarre thing to me is that these short spurts of oil price relief whenever the administration announced a deal is imminent (of course, to be right back to square once the following Monday), the prices adjust downward based on a favorable deal for the United States.

The market just assumes that a deal will return everything to status quo, when the reality is that it won’t. The only way things go back to status quo is if Iran does not get to maintain control of that strait, which to me seems very unlikely.

I think the impact of our SPR holdings is overstated, but it’s an easy way to point to the overall supply issue. As long as domestic production maintains current levels, a lower SPR volume doesn’t really put us at any actual supply risk, which was not the case when the SPR was established.

Prices haven’t reflected the supply issue because countries all around the world are burning through their reserves (and there was a lot of oil on tankers that was making its way to ports). Most countries don’t have the ability to refill those supplies without importing them, and that will put a lot of pressure on the market above meeting basic demand needs.

When Exxon and Chevron talk about what’s coming in late June/July, they’re talking about the fact that these global reserves will be mostly gone (or no more will be released), so the market will start seeing actual shortages. Those shortages will send prices much higher, and it will happen fast.

Basically, burning through the SPR and other global reserves has kicked the can down the road, and it will result in prices remaining higher for longer even after supply routes are re-establshed.

I was told that we were gonna ‘Drill Baby Drill’

Seeing reports of a major attack on the Kuwait Airport by Iran

Will be interesting to see US response

There’s a lot happening that’s blowing stuff up and killing people for there to be no war (according to Rubio yesterday) and an effective ceasefire.

Every time Israel escalates, something happens in Hormuz. Weird coincidence, I’m sure.
