I’m concerned about both.
Well, I am too. But I know Belk can field a competitive squad when he has talent. Now, if you want to criticize him for his overall recruiting I’d be sympathetic to that argument. I found it worrisome when Belk said Dana doesn’t make them stay late. I wondered if that same liberal management style extended to recruiting. Because if it does then that explains a lot. I really hope it doesn’t.
It would represent another huge waste of money. Give a g5 just a 5 mil of that and they can do wonders with that money so it’s marginal economic gain like I’m saying. The salaries we pay these coaches only goes so far and it’s why a Marshall can beat a Notre dame at ND with way less resources.
Keep belk just get an oc.
Aggie is only number 1 during recruiting, NEVER after actual on field play…
I yousta coodnt evin spel Agy an now i r wun.
Getting joy from other schools having bad seasons is what this season has come down to
What’s funny is that 2 of UH’s all-time greatest coaches played football at A&M.
Jimbo’s contract is the only one that is worse than Holgi’s.
Mel Tuckers got a Jimbo level contract too
Coach Yeoman had enough sense to transfer to Army before he was brainwashed lol…
From Wiki…
Yeoman played center for Army from 1946 to 1948 under head coach Earl Blaik. The 1946 team was 9–0–1 with a backfield of two Heisman Trophy winners: Glenn Davis and Doc Blanchard. Yeoman was a team captain in 1948 and chosen as a second-team All-American. The Army football teams in which he played compiled a combined 22–2–4 record.
Transferring to Army was a smart decision. He became second team AA. Played for one of the most successful collegiate teams in history. Served his country. Very good decision.
And that’s not hyperbole.
No doubt Belk lost more talent than we previously thought…but there is zero excuse for the late game meltdowns especially when the game is on the line. I can understand one game, but the defense has been very vulnerable every game this season.
And oh yeah, I love our fourth and 20 strategy lol…
Regardless of what I think Holgorsen has a lot of pressure on him right now so I would imagine someone is going to bite the dust and it probably will be the OC, who is running the offense exactly the way Dana wants him to.
But someone has to be the scapegoat…maybe the OL coach? How about the linebackers coach? Or the defensive back coach?
I am hoping Belk can get it together and also bring in some kids who can play now. I know after the Rice win he offered several Ridge Point defensive players. But I am pretty sure he will strike out there despite the fact that Ceaser is from there…
I got a great solution. Aggies should poach Holgorsen to be their OC. That will massage their superiority complex over us and be much cheaper than buying Jimbo out.
There are 90 million reasons Jimbo stays.
Ags catch a break -Young is out v AM.
Bama at top 10 Tenn next week.
Ags can save themselves/Jimbo a bye week of grief by keeping it under 10. At S Carolina on the 22nd.
Some red neck called into Paul Finebaum’s show yesterday and said a hitman would be cheaper than Jimbo’s buyout.
