Memphis/ 03/26/22-Faces 7 Major NCAA Violations

Is tonight the night that Penny turns the corner?

Tigers channel their collective inner Joey Dorsey and shock the world.

Memphis is scary good and even scarier if they ever realize how good they are.

Not if Emoni Bates plays!

I don’t think Penny is ready for the hijinks Gonzaga will throw at them. But… if Memphis holds them close until later in the game I can see youthful exuberance and talent winning the day.

Penny has already turned the corner. You beat CKS in 2 out of 3 games, you are good. Remember even last year we were lucky winning the game. The thing that they need to improve is consistency against lesser opponents. They are always ready for big time opponent and so they will be ready for Zags.

Gonzaga is like those Wisconsin farm country prep teams that just execute offense so well they end up making every one of their shots layups, but with even smarter and more talented players. Memphis is just pure raw athleticism.

Memphis can definitely win but they must play smart, especially on defense.

Those Wisconsin farm teams don’t have first round draft picks on them like Gonzaga does.

They are more like big city and international elite prep school kids than farm boys.

They just need to pretend they are playing us

Guessing this was sarcasm…… Bates needs to stay as far away as possible.

Penny has learned a lot over the past 4 years. He’s not a bad coach and seems interested in becoming a great coach.

Penny has had the most talented roster on the planet for four years. Beating us two times in a season and getting killed by other teams isn’t turning the corner…IMO.

Turning the corner would be getting serious national recognition for something other than recruiting.

But beating Gonzaga might be turning the corner. Or at least doing a Tokyo drift around it.

Memphis was pre-season ranked top 10, they are getting national recognition. Experts in the media acknowledge that they have a talented team. As I said, their issue is consistency but against big teams they are fired up as you will see tonight.

Yeah id him a C+, made the tournament and won one game there

But how he gonna have his dream squad without the cancer Emoni yet still lose out both the league and conference tournament to a team without their best players lmao

Memphis is the basketball team and culture that should represent the longhorns if they didn’t already have the longhorns.

Oh, I think they can win tonight but I don’t think Penny has accomplished much in relation to the talent he’s brought in.

I had Mumphish as my upset special in this game. I dont like that the cancerous Emoni Bates is playing though.

He also won the NIT last year.

That is an accomplishment.

I’m hoping that we face Memphis in the national championship game at the Final Four in New Orleans!
