Make no mistake, Tom Herman is extremely smart and understands what’s going on with Texas. His decision won’t come down to making more money. It will come down to ego. Does he think he’s a good enough coach to overcome all the dysfunction and be able to win? Even if he thinks he is good enough to overcome all the junk, hopefully he decides it’s not worth putting his family through that ringer.

He also needs to talk to Rich Rodriguez. He left West Virginia for the “big time” and hasn’t been as highly regarded since. I would love to know how he feels about that decision now.
