I wanted, and should have, said before the year started that I do not think he was going to have near the year he had last year. He could get away with some stuff in the AC last year that he will not be able to get away with this year in the Big 12 or the Minute Maid Classic for that matter. He is a 26 year old man. If he was that good he would be dominant all the time. He also had a number of saves last year after giving up the tying run and then holding on to the save after we took the lead again while hitting. There are better pitchers on the staff who are better suited for the closerâs role!

Weekend starters look various levels of good. Most of the lineup can hit.
Defense bad up the middle so far.
Bullpen mostly terrible. Long relief can barely get a single out at times. Murray struggling to close.
Need to go 5-4 or better in next 9.
Schedule gets tough for @ a month headed into KSU series.

Really disappointed in the bullpen, but after watching other games, we are not alone. Doesnât make it okay tho. Going to be a tough b12, bottom third probably. Even lower if our base running ( as usual) and middle infield doesnât get it together.
