I don’t like how he frames the video as if surgeries are unnecessary in general, because I think surgeries are life-saving for many people.
That said, I agree with the premise that the industry of medicine does not address the root causes of why people get sick in the first place. One could argue that’s not their job, but I think if an industry like medicine is for the purpose of human health, then prevention should be one of it’s pillars rather than solely relying on treatment.
Unfortunately, prevention is what could keep hospitals out of business.
