I think you might have gotten that backwards. The Padres poked the bear one time too many. They finished the series with 24 consecutive scoreless innings against a beat up starting pitching staff and a gritty bullpen.

It was true until it wasnāt. Unfortunately weāre pretty much guaranteed to have a result that teaches us that money in fact does buy championships.
I wouldnāt count out the Metsā¦.then you get the Subway Series.
If that happens I might really consider a quick trip to NYC for a couple of games.

I would root so hard for the Mets in that situation. I kinda like Flushing area. I always associate that with the Jets and Mets.

Iāll be pulling for Cleveland. Mets/Dodgers is a toss up for me. I detest the Dodgers fans more but the Mets owner is a pos so I canāt really root for them. May actually slightly prefer a Dodgers win because I like their players a bit more. I guess ultimately I want anyone but the Yanks.

As bad as the Dodgers v Mets series has been the Cleveland v Yankees has been incredible.
