That right there is why they havenā€™t played for a WS in 15 years. Instead of actually getting better so that they could beat the Astros, they just whined about it and denied the fact that they just werenā€™t good enough to ever beat the Astros in the playoffs.

To see the heartbreak in NY was satisfying. To see the faces was awesome.

I didnā€™t watch but did check the box score. Nice to see ohtani & judge go a combined 2 for 10, with 3 Kā€™s for Goldilocks. Hoping for a sweep and the resulting disappointment for manfred and fox.

I love baseball, but just canā€™t bring myself to watch those two teams. Guessing the announcers would irritate me as well with their fawning and any ā€œthem cheating Astrosā€ references. I could be wrong, but why chance it?

Itā€™s so f mundane. Almost like inhaling 1000 milligrams of tramadol. I really miss Vin Skully and the old days of WS TV.
