Does this help the Stros keep Correa?
I hope. Correa had a good sign when knucklehead signed for 340m. But it looks like the two NY teams are moving on. Texas signing Seager was huge because they were a threat. I don’t think Correa wants to freeze his ____ off in that morgue in Detroit. There are still 3 teams to worry about. It comes down to whether or not he’ll take a three or five year deal…which would give him what he wants on a per year basis. Houston ain’t biting on ten years. That’s way too risky. I could see Correa sitting out to get to seven years.
Crane probably won’t do seven.
