T1. Texas (no explanation needed for top two if you’ve been a Cougar fan for 50+ years)
T1. Texas A&M
(big gap)
3. Ohio State (couldn’t stand Woody Hayes, and their fans are the worst)
4. USC (always thought they cheated more than most and played dirty, though all that may be just my imagination)
(big gap)
5. SMU (they get on the list just for being in Dallas, but they’ve earned their spot because of too many things to mention)

Also, I like Notre Dame, but even I will admit they are probably overrated this year.

I’ve been following UH since I was born in the 70’s and all SWC schools hated each other. It was a surprise to me when we were in C-USA and had fans from other conference members come on our message board to say “Good game” or congrats on a win.

I agree wholeheartedly with this sentiment. I also include ND, not just for the Cotton Bowl, but for the special treatment they still receive to this day. Everyone in my family knows my favorite three schools any weekend.

As far as Texas goes, it extends beyond athletics. Can you spell PUF?.

Texas is third on your list??? WHAT could you be thinking? I hate Texas every flippin day of the year! Now we have to read that idiot longhorn butt kisser Kirk Bohls in the Chron every day like their school is around the corner, not in Austin. Hey Kirk, flippin’ PLAY somebody…didnt play Bama, LSU, Auburn, Ole Miss or Tennessee and played Florida when their QB was hurt. On my knees, i am begging Georgia to beat them again and SHUT their arrogant ass up!!! I HATE TEXAS!!!

It was Memphis for me until we left the AAC. Now its probably Tech and Baylor but I will say Kansas is rapidly rising up the ranks. lol

I hate all of the old SWC schools but especially one that centers around on all of our probations, designed probations to extinguish our momentum(s).

Cotton Bowl 2009- when Crabtree quit on them in the 2nd quarter.
