Where is this generation’s Ralph Nader?
Do you really think, yes really think that a vehicle, any vehicle would be allowed to be sold, on the road or even registered, insured without a safety report?
So all ice cars are like the pinto?
I own cars without crash testing. Small volume cars are exempt.
That is exactly the belief that made me assume (up until now) that all cars were crash tested. Apparently crash testing isn’t required on a safety report for insurance purposes.
Do you think Cybertrucks are unsafe?
We get it, you worship at the alter of all things Musk.
I would say Cyberyrucks are less safe than other SUVs. They have not been saftey tested and lack crumple zones that help in accidents
I have some concerns and don’t plan on getting into one anytime soon.
Thank you for letting us know.
The data in the article certainly makes it look that way (comparative to other vehicles).
LOL, a year ago a Tesla was a green status symbol. Now, they don’t want to be caught dead in one.
I wonder who is responsible for that?
Bingo!
Don’t bother with facts.
Not all EVs are Teslas. But they are the most popular. I think the tide is turning. The most popular car sold in America is now the RAV4, beating out the Ford F150 which had the title for over 40 years in a row.
Really the best selling vehicle is the Chevy/GMC 1500
Ford adding that orange line/light on the headlight was plain stupid.
IMO it “cheapens” the truck’s design.
Will this get slashed as wasteful spending? This is topic appropriate, no? Or will those on here who fawn all over Elon flag it to protect him?
I am not sure why you would want an armored EV, they are already too heavy. This was an initiative started by the prior folks. The State Department has already said Tesla has not been awarded the contract and likely will not.
