According to NBC Sports, the Navy vs ECU game scheduled for this Thur, has been postponed due to flooding in the area. Apparently flooding is so bad, they could not move it back a few days to Sat either. The game has been rescheduled for Nov 19…which is the same day we’ll make history by defeating a top 5 Louisville team!!
Hmmm…was hoping ECU could catch the Midshipmen still basking in the glow.

Dang! I too was hoping ECU would catch Navy in a trap game. Oh well.
That also essentially gives them a bye week before playing Memphis. That sucks.
But a dry field and a sellout crowd in November gives ECU a MUCH better chance to spring an upset…ECU has a great passing attack…with all the rain and flooding, it would have been a real advantage for Navy to play now…
Actually it will be two days after our Louisville game
It’s not raining in North Carolina but parts of the state had as much as two feet of rain during the Hurricane. The Tar River in Greenville is predicted to crest on Sunday. I-95 is currently closed in multiple places in the state. Same thing for I-40.
This game wasn’t cancelled to give anyone an advantage. It was cancelled because the State of North Carolina needs all resources elsewhere and doesn’t need people on the roadways.
