NBA Defensive player of the year named after Hakeem.
Considering Dream typically is undersold with his place in history this is great recognition
We all know he should have been DPOY at least another three times.
Pretty cool for Dream.
Is there not a trophy named after Bill Russel?
It’s called the Championship Trophy
@Coogs51 - Bill Russell already has the finals MVP trophy named after him.
Defense is work…

And…he wasn’t too bad on offense…
Loved it when my Coogs would just eviscerate old SWC foes…

Aside from rebounding and blocked shots (along with the intimidation factor), Dream was usually ranked in the top 10 in steals every season.
We know this. Houstonians know this. NBA players know this. I would say he is still underrated in public opinion.
