Coogs overcome a mediocre start and finish second in their heat and move on to the finals. Hinchcliffe was fantastic in the last leg. We are really going to miss him next year.
Auburn sets a collegiate record In the same heat. Coach Burrell getting it done.

Coogs qualify with third fastest time.

Auburn (Ja’Kobe Tharp) with a world record in the first heat of the 110m hurdles with a 12.75. Coach Burrell continues to get it done. Good for him. Great interview afterwards. Impressive.

Poor start by Hinchcliffe and he does not move on to the finals. Auburn killing it with three in the finals. Miss those days. :slightly_frowning_face:

Coogs were looking good and drop the baton on the final exchange. Heartbreaking ending for Hinchcliffe career at UH. Thanks for all you have done. :+1:

First time since 2014 since the Coogs had 0 points in the NCAA T&F championships. Looks like no one cares except me and Ritz Coog.

I’m depressed. I love track. NIL has changed everything.

I care too and I’m very disappointed after such high hopes especially in the 100m relay. I love track. Thanks for the updates. No knock against Coach Lewis because it’s up to the athletes to perform in the clutch but we really miss Coach Burrell. I root for him at Auburn after UH.

Thanks for the reply. I know there are others that care as well. Just very frustrated. I am happy for Coach Burrell as well, always a fav.

5 out of top 6 finishing teams are from the $EC. The other is Oregon, also known as the Nike Ducks.

I am thrilled to have Coach Lewis as Coach. I know he will do all he can to make us relevant, but it’s not a level playing field any more. Hopefully the Coogs can pull off a surprise or two going forward.

I follow the updates as well. Very appreciated. I tuned in not realizing the finals were yesterday and not today. By then I had missed our guys. It was fun under Coach Burrell when it seemed like we had guys in events spread throughout the day.

I know, I recognize all you guys from your previous postings here as well and appreciated your following the results. I just wish more fans here visited the Olympic sports board more than do.
