1st Coog hits the track around 5:02 pm:
Don’t be surprised if there are more shifts in times today.
Ouch. 110m Hurdles Heat 2…LSU runner whiffed on the first hurdle, ate it hard. Made Brian Barraza’s fall last year look like hitting the pillow.
Don’t know what happened, just jumped right into the hurdle.
And another goes down in Heat 3 on the first hurdle. Right next to Lattin.
Lattin 2nd in the heat with 13.44, 5th overall.
The Kentucky hurdler ran the 2nd fastest 110m H in college history at 13.09 (the record of 13.00 was set 40 years ago…1979).
Fast times in Austin. Lattin’s 13.44 was a personal best.
Lattin can do a little better, but I think 3rd is the best he can get unless Holloway and Roberts trip into each other.
I just saw that…PB by 0.12 seconds.
The 100m should be fun to watch, with as fast as everybody’s going.
Collins with a 10.24 to finish 7th in Heat 1 of the 100m.
I like him, think he’s going to be big for us next season.
Burke wins Heat 2 with a wind-legal 9.98!!!
Good exposure this national meet for him…
And Burke wins his heat with an eye-popping wins-legal 9.98. Will be in the finals.
Exactly. Coaches have been working with him on his form. Ton of talent if he can put it all together.
LSU’s Flournoy pulled up lame in the 100m (you’ll remember him from the 4x100 taunt earlier in the year).
Tough break if it’s serious.
It’s all about redemption for Burke and making up for mishandled baton exchange
Hell of a race from Burke and I felt like he eased up at the end a bit. Will be an exciting final!
Brutal for LSU so far.
Lady Luck needs to be with you…
Here comes TT Divine… leads qualifiers with a 9.96
