Do they get ACC bowl money and if so, do they have to pay the penalty?
I know they are indeoendent in football, but ACC for most other sports.
Good for them. Everyone is looking out for themselves including the bowls.

Skip Bowls and stick it to the people that actually pay for all this…the fans and the families that have sacrificed for their kids to get to that point? Send them some kleenex and kotex in a care package as well.

The kids and families get paid. The fans don’t show up anyway if it isn’t CFP.
BYU fans wont turn down an Orlando trip. They even have some Swig locations there.
You might want to tell that to the 50K+ that will be at the Texas Bowl

I’m talking about ND since that is what this thread is about. The are wanted because they are a TV draw. Their school and fans are CFP or bust.
I’ll be at the Texas bowl but they were too good for us until ISU declined.
This just isn’t true. And I see no reason to line up to support Notre Dame while they run away from a game against a B12 team.
They’re wrong, and I’d support a ban from next year’s postseason because of it.

Well, it’s in their right to do it.
And I think ND would take care of most Big 12 teams in a neutral site game.

If they’re good enough, they should play the game. Running away earns them no presumption of superiority. Weak.

Got c’ya…That they are such a huge draw is exactly why they should go to their Bowl. TV$ is fueling this bus, not ND. Join a Conference, like everyone else and presto…problem solved
