Indiana canceled a series with ND .
It’s bc their conference is too tough to risk another game. ND’s best shot is to schedule big12 and Acc games . This yr they have ey smu , Miami and byu as ranked teams they play

They’ll probably keep playing Purdue as their main in state rival. They have a long history with Northwestern; that might be a safe rivalry to schedule.
USC is coming back, but not right away.
But yeah…I could see what you describe happening.
