Got an email today in regards to new parking and shifting lots. Here’s the new map:
Main move is that the green lot moved from the north side of campus to south of the stadium.
I don’t like it. The RV lot’s are a big part of the view when rolling into a stadium. Now they are way out and away. Hopefully that changes.
I believe the green lots are now back to where they were in the first year of TDECU. This caused an issue with student parking when we had games on Thursday and Friday. The last two years we tailgated where the RV lot is for 2017. Bunch of good shade trees in that lot.
Every year I get moved just a little further out. Next year they’ll tell me it will be my driveway.

haha thats why I want to move to the third ward.
First year TDECU parking was $10. Not sure what it was last year, but I noticed that parking is now $20 per game for cash parking. I thought that was steep. But, for 6 games, $120 for parking, you can make a cougar pride donation and just get the parking pass in the blue lot. I believe it would be a little closer.

Lol I actually do make a Cougar Pride donation but the amount I can donate (donate range) keeps getting moved further out. The first year I was in the parking garage, what a steal!! Then…a little out…etc.
One of my tailgate friends and I have required CP donations that get us garage parking passes. We have elected every year to downgrade out of the garage to the green lots so we can tailgate with our other CP donors in our group. The green lots for this year will not have as many choice tailgate spots under trees like we had the past 2 years in between the front of the Architecture building and Elgin.
