Johnson was Utah’s OC in 2012, and co-OC in 2013. Kyle Whittingham has been the Utah HC since 2004. He’s had a losing record twice in that span. I’ll let you guess which two years those were. Johnson has a documented record of failure as an OC. You can try to rationalize or excuse that failure all you like, but the facts are the facts. Has he learned from those failures? Will he be successful here? Will Kyle Allen make him look good like Dak Prescott did? Who knows?
