Unfortunate situation. It was on, now it’s off.
Have a feeling that LSU folks will be missing Les Miles in about a year or two. Orgeron has always proven to be a top notch recruiter, but he has never been a good head coach.
Got a feeling that we may end up with a few more guys from Louisiana.

Ended up such a non-story. To say black coaches would tell their kids not to go to LSU because a black coach was demoted there, would be ludicrous. It was either a knee-jerk reaction or cooler heads prevailed.

Nobody who lives in Louisiana boycotts LSU; if they do, they end up DEAD! And everybody in the state knows the rules.

They may not end up dead Pat; but they could certainly end up unemployed.
And, it “ain’t” only fellow citizens of Louisiana who know the rules, the NCAA knows those rules too. In fact, I think they know a few rules that do not even apply to citizens of the state - like, if they dare to venture into Baton Rouge to investigate any possible rule violations by the Tigers, they just might end up as alligator bait!
They have good reasons for staying away. If anyone ever wonders why the Tigers never seem to get into trouble, NOW YOU KNOW!
