A lot of the teams that we should’ve been ranked ahead of lost. It’s almost as if an 8-2 P4 team with two solid wins deserved to be ranked.

So today. 20, 21, 22, 24 and 25 all lost. If they all drop out of the top 25 as they should. We may pop our heads back in at 25.

We will take the spot if we win against TCU.
We may only be 24 or 25 in the AP but in the CFP ranking we could fall anywhere from 21-23. Don’t think the committee will have us behind any G5 teams and I think at least two G5 teams get ranked next week.

They won’t be. UNT and Tulane may though.
I don’t think they rank us until we beat TCU.
The will likely keep us as is, and move up the teams that did play today.

I think that may be true for the AP but the CFP I have more faith in. 8-2 in a power conference with two wins over 7-3 teams is gonna be pretty hard to deny after this weekend.

If TCU beats BYU tonight, then i can possibly see it happening because the networks will want a ranked Big 12 team to replace Cincy (and it won’t be ASU or Arizona)
If BYU wins, then we might be kept in place while the other 26-30 teams that played and won today move up

We’re getting ranked in the AP poll tomorrow & also the CFP rankings on Tuesday. None of those teams ranked in the 20s who lost this weekend will be ranked ahead of us
Arizona and ASU have a chance at cracking the top 25

If UH is going to be 21-25, there’s no way AZ and ASU get ranked too

As much as I hate to admit it RichRod is slowly, meticulously bending WVU back into shape. If he doesn’t slip out in the middle of the night I expect him to challenge for the conference in the next couple of years.
They aren’t winning every game but they’ve suddenly become competent. And that’s a big step for them.
