These people have no idea who is good and who isn’t. If you listen to locked on b12 one writer who mistakenly left out byu from the poll said he doesn’t have time to watch all the games. Such a shame.

AP voters loving Oklahoma State this week. Leapfrogged our Coogs from #30 to #19. Moved up 11 places! And I thought we did really well moving up 5 places.

They proved that beating Oregon was no fluke. Going into Morgantown and getting a win is impressive. We’ve proven nothing yet

I’m really glad UH is getting respect at 20 and there are 5 ranked schools.
The Big XII should have an assumption of 2 teams getting in every year in a 12 team playoff. I don’t love it looks like we are being positioned as a 1 bid league again.
The conference is doing well on the field and decently in the ratings. We need a team or 2 to go on deep playoff runs now and the top half to keep looking as tough as they do.
It’s an attack against an empire and it will take a big conference push. I like what the conference is doing. Hat tip to @RezClone ‘s Cyclones. I assumed they would have a total rebuild after being decimated but they look tough.
Conference wins won’t be a given this year and that’s great.

I think being #20 is pretty much the high end of what we can expect right now. We could go either way. Wins against UCF and Kansas State would put us solidly in the top 20, I think.

But 4 top 20 teams at this point? Probably close to best case scenario if you ask me a month or two ago!
The top 4 can’t stumble tho. Utah at least had the thought cross their mind late yesterday.

Wow - Ok. State jumped us…
Guess I can’t complain, they have looked much more explosive offensively (save for the game against Tulsa) and have beaten a good Top 10 Oregon team (we haven’t beaten any ranked teams, so far).

Sorry to say, but TTech and UH are overrated. They have a partnership in that playing each other, playing Oregon State and then playing non-P4s binds them. Tech has no impressive wins, just riding the tails of last year really as we are.
Our Defense is the definite weak point. Good luck at K St, at Utah and at West Virginia. No Georgia Southern there. And of course home vs Oklahoma State as if we’re going to reel them in.
