School colors or uniform trim/alt?
I’ve posted this before but UH should use Sam Houston’s ancestral tartan on our uniforms. That’d be unique. And don’t forget about my greyhounds as mascots.
Fun fact: back when we were Houston Junior College, our colors were blue and white.

While greyhounds would be cool, the martlet would be more unique. Who wouldn’t want a mythological bird who has no feet because it doesn’t need them because it never lands?
The athletic symbolism may favor the greyound though as it stands for speed in giving aid while the martlet symbolizes peace and deliverance
