CKS knows Chris Paul from when he coached them on a USA team previously. Jordan brand was looking to grab a team from the American and the MWC (SDSU) and CP3 was able to pull some strings so that we’d end up as the team from the American.

If you look at the basketball only teams, they were powerhouse teams from when Jordan was in high school and college. A coincidence? I think not.

Ehhh… I’m not feelin’ these. Personally, I prefer the all white “stormtrooper” look. But hey, as long as we take care of business on the field, that’s all that matters!

I don’t think we are too far from this. They have dropped some hints in social media with Jordan cleats and players doing the jump man stance. Maybe at the end of this season we will get a surprise.
Agree – no white helmets…one of the few things that had stayed constant for 45 plus years was RED helmets.

Not sure. Going back to the “white out” vote OU did, they never mentioned uniforms as part of the deal. It was basically whether the crowd would wear maroon, 2 different patterns, and all-white; The all-white won. I find it hard to believe we’d stand in their way on this one.
And that Tech thing was a made-up controversy by that homer Lubbock reporter.
