Well a sleeper cell wouldn’t be inspired, they would be activated

they would be inspired first

It’s kinda scary. Apparently they were targeting Mandami protestors, and both were teenagers.

One apparently has already stated that he wanted to kill people like at the Boston Marathon and identified with ISIS.

What the Hell is the matter with kids these days?

In many cases, the same thing that is wrong with the adults that raise them.

I think you need the definition to help you understand that’s not how a sleeper cell works-

A sleeper cell is a dormant, hidden unit of operatives (spies or terrorists) placed within a target country or organization to blend in and await activation orders for acts of espionage or sabotage. They are designed for long-term infiltration, remaining inactive to avoid detection until

So you’re saying these kids at age 18ish are already in “sleeper cells?”

Again
what’s the Hell’s the matter with kids these days?

Are you saying that they were a cell activated because of the War in Iran? That’s a little counter-intuitive simply because ISIS is a Sunni extremist movement, and Iran is not a majority Sunni nation. Some of the nations that Iran is attacking, by contrast, are super-majority Sunni (Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, UAE). Oman is super-majority Ibadhi, and Bahrain is roughly 55/45 Sunni/Shia.

Anyway, one of those kids just sounds straight up NUTS!!!

Here was his spontaneous statement:

“He said, ‘This isn’t a religion that just stands when people talk about the blessed name of the prophet. We take action, we take action,’” Tisch said. “As well as, ‘If I didn’t do it, someone else will come and do it.’ Then later, after waiving his rights, he requested paper and wrote a message declaring in part, ‘I pledge my allegiance to the Islamic state. Die in your rage, you kufar.’”

I’m not sure where the confusion is coming from

here’s the footage of the bomb chunker. Listen to the protester

Why would a Sunni extremist cell be activated in a war against a Shia extremist country?

ISIS has been known to conduct attacks against Iran, so why would they care that the USA is attacking Iran?

Seems strange that THIS war would trigger the activation of a sleeper cell, given that.

For ISIS
Shiites are just as much infidels as any non-Muslim group.

Every commemt i have made in this thread says this is not a sleeper cell

Not sure where the confusion is coming from

I wasn’t sure what to make of this. Sounded like you were implying that they were a sleeper cell, against any theory that they weren’t, but if I misinterpreted this post, then my apologies.

That said.

What’s the Hell is the matter with kids this day joining ISIS in their teens?

Geesh.

There was a BBC series called The State about English citizens joining Isis. Literally every scene had me going wtf is wrong with these people. The only good thing is it showed it didn’t turn out the way any of them wanted it to

Oh yeah.

In fact, back in ISIS’ heydey, they signed up over 100 Americans.

CRAZINESS!!!

Query: which group of extremists is more nuts: ISIS, al-Qaeda, Hamas, Hezbollah, or the Iranian Ayatollahs
or in the end
is it a toss up?
