I am not an NFL fan and I haven’t watched a complete game in 13 years. But being from Arky I always found it fascinating how the press in disparate regions of America decide which teams to cover. I can vouch that southern Arky is Cowboy country. But having lived in the Ozarks its the Chiefs. This is just one website but very interesting. And only one franchise that is not a favorite of any state.

Was always fun to visit the big sports bars in Lincoln and Omaha on Sundays when visiting my Husker son. Groups of tables of fans rooting for the Packers, Chiefs, Steelers, Bears, Vikings, Colts, Broncos, Cowboys. We’d commandeer a small one and cheer on the Texans, feeling out-of-place. 
It was also fun hitting up the big Scheels stores. Instead of what we were used to at Academy, Texans, and some Cowboys, there was an array of all those teams’ gear. That is in the 5% of the store that wasn’t devoted to the Huskers.

I still have a hard time digesting that the Eagles are bigger in PA than the steelers. Unless the stats were queried for one year…recently.
Funny that Bama is a Dolphin state and not a Falcons state.
