Aside from NIL, will the 12 team playoff be enough to break up the potential five teams at the top of NIL and open the mythical NC up to more teams? Or will money drive NCAA football to where smaller NIL like UH do not stand a chance?
Why pay coaches $5 million/yr, NIL $10 million /yr only to end up in the Independence Bowl? We could save our money, sit back and watch the five schools duke it out each year for the mythical NC (or who paid the most for players)

The difference in lifetime earning power between a high school graduate and a college graduate averages out to about one million dollars. Did people forget that?

If college athletics cannot survive by following the Constitution then it should not exist.
It is like the argument people made about slaver; without it, the North and South would not survive. Somehow, we managed.

If UH NIL was smart they would do what texas did and offer 50k a year for lineman i NIL. That is where the game of football is won invthe trenches.

We will find out this year if that trope is correct. UH has experienced continual growth in applications. If they continue to go up this year then football as the front doorstep wonāt hold up.

I like cutting out the collectives and allowing schools to pay direct. Not sure about a new division depending on how that line is drawn.

Essentially making it official that the top earning schools can play by a different set of rules than the rest.
