I have not heard anything about a 2026 CP Kickoff event. I thought this was an annual CP benefit for donors at the All American level and up. If my memory serves me correctly this event has been on an annual basis since TDECU opened. Anyone hear one way or the other about a 2026 CP Kickoff event?

I know in the past they have announced it about 10 days out, but they are running out of time.

It is the athletics kickoff event with most of the head coaches, it is probably a nightmare to schedule, I bet they are having trouble finalizing the date. I think it is premature to think they forgot about it or decided to not have it this year. Also I am tied up the 26th and 27th if the person trying to schedule it reads this.
Cage Rage is scheduled for Thursday August 27 per our athletics web site. Free for students and free parking in 12A and 12B. No mention of “Kickoff” event for CP donors.
According to Jeff there is no Kickoff event this year, people complained about that they could not make the one event so they decided to cancel that event, in the future they will envision new events that will take its place.
They replaced the wording of “Invitation to the Cougar Pride Annual Kick Off Event” with “Invitation to Cougar Pride Annual Fund Events”
